Speculation is running rampant about whether the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has already given birth.

When the royal couple announced her pregnancy they said the baby was due in April, so it’s past Markle’s due date.

And further fueling speculation is a recent visit to Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s newly renovated home, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor on the grounds of Windsor Castle, by Queen Elizabeth II, according to ABC News.

Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, also visited the couple after church services on Easter Sunday, media outlets reported.

Royal watchers have also guessed that Baby Sussex is already here, but there’s no way to know for sure following last month’s announcement by Buckingham Palace that the royal couple would not have the baby where Kate and Princess Diana gave birth at St. Mary’s in London in the private Lindo Wing.

After each of Kate Middleton’s three children, the Cambridges posed for photos outside the hospital with their new baby, but that’s not going to happen with Harry and Meghan.

Buckingham Palace said the Sussexes would not reveal when or where the birth would happen until they’ve had time to celebrate “privately as a new family.”

"Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family,” according to the statement from the palace.

The Palace had also promised reporters that an announcement would be made when Meghan Markle goes into labor, but it’s still unclear whether the baby has already been born.
