According to Williams' attorney, Steven C. Smith, the singer is offering $5,000 for the return of the shotgun, plus a $1,000 finder's fee to anyone who leads the attorney to the gun, WBRC reported.

Williams wants to give the Remington 11/48 16-gauge shotgun to his children and grandchildren, according to his attorney's Facebook post. Williams said he does not believe the gun was stolen, but was probably lost when his grandfather moved from Cullman, Alabama, to Paris, Tennessee. Williams said he believes the gun is somewhere in the Cullman area, AL.com reported.

"I believe it's in this area, and I'm willing to give the person who has it fifty $100 dollar bills (sic), no questions asked, no chance of criminal prosecution," Williams wrote on Smith's Facebook page.

Anyone with information is asked to call Smith at (256) 734-4721.
