Hugh Jackman: Actor, singer, dancer, Guinness World Record holder

Hugh Jackman is now a world record holder. And he’s not alone. Sir Patrick Stewart joins him in the honor.

Both Jackman and Stewart are being recognized for their roles in the "X-Men" franchise -- Jackman for Wolverine and Steward for Professor Charles Xavier, Guinness World Records announced in a release.

They both have played their roles for 16 years and 228 days both starring in the original “X-Men” movie and culminating in 2017’s “Logan.” They both are killed in “Logan.”

Jackman was surprised with the honor Wednesday on ITV's "This Morning" by Craig Glendary, editor-in-chief of Guinness World Records.

Jackman said he’s always wanted to be listed among the world records.

First he tried to get the most coins snatched off the elbow at the age of 10. Then he and his brother tried to beat the longest marathon playing badminton, singles. He failed at both.

But his honor of being named the longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero will be featured in the Guinness World Records 2020.

And while Jackman is being celebrated as a Marvel superhero, his next role is as a song and dance man, as he goes on tour for his worldwide stage show “

The Man. The Music. The Show

” that kicks off in Glasgow on May 7, before heading to the the U.S. in June.
