Lennox Intl Inc. has announced a recall of the company's natural pig ear dog treats.
The recall, according to the Food and Drug Administration is due to the ear's potential contamination by salmonella.
Pets infected by salmonella can be lethargic, have diarrhea, fever and vomiting. Pets can also have decreased appetite, fever and abdominal pain, the FDA reported. They can also be carriers of the infection and pass it to other pets and humans.
