ASHEBORO, N.C. — Two Wendy’s employees allegedly stabbed each other at work in North Carolina on Monday following a fight.
WGHP says it happened just before 10:30 a.m. Monday and when officers arrived at the scene, they found a 22-year-old with a stab wound at the Wendy’s location. He was taken to the hospital. A witness told police that the suspect ran from the scene. WXII identified him as Taylor Tucker, 22.
Two schools in the area were issued a shelter-in-place order as a precaution while they searched for the suspect which has since been lifted. Another witness, according to WGHP, told officers that they saw the suspect leaving in a gold Toyota and was driving recklessly.
The suspect’s car was located in another town and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office was able to arrest them, according to WXII. The suspect was taken to the hospital with a stab wound. No further information has been released.
