OAKLAND, Calif. — At least one person has died and multiple people are recovering from injuries after shots were fired at a party bus overnight in Oakland, California, reports say.
According to KRON and KTVU, the incident occurred during a birthday celebration early Tuesday on Interstate 580 in East Oakland. Shots were fired, striking multiple victims aboard the bus before its driver parked at the Oakland police station in Eastmont, the outlets reported.
KTVU, citing Bay Area News Group reporter Dylan Bouscher, reported that a 19-year-old Stockton woman died in the shooting. Several others were transported to a nearby hospital, according to the news station.
