Canada reported no coronavirus related deaths Friday for the first time in six months, according to health officials.

The last time the country had reported no coronavirus related deaths was March 15, Bloomberg reported.

There have been 9,163 total deaths, according to Johns Hopkins health data.

Many provinces have been in lockdown throughout the pandemic. As restrictions have eased as schools reopen, there has been an increase in cases, Reuters reported. Quebec and Ontario have accounted for more than 80% of the country’s cases, Bloomberg reported.

The country reported 702 new cases Friday. There are 137,676 total cases in Canada, according to health data.
