“Our thoughts are with all American people at this unprecedented time,” Swiss tourist officials said on social media. “We look forward to meeting again at the foot of the Matterhorn, we are all in this together.”

This is not the first time the side of the mountain has been used as a backdrop. It’s part of a series of projections by artist Gerry Hofstetter, Fox News reported.

Last month the word “#hope” was projected on it. Other images include flags from other countries hit hard by the coronavirus outbreak.

The Matterhorn is part of a portion of the Swiss Alps along the border of Switzerland and Italy, according to the CIA World FactBook. It is 14,692 feet tall.
