SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco firefighters and police officers helped a woman give birth to twins in her car Friday evening.
KTVU says San Francisco police officers responded to a call that a driver was heading to the hospital to deliver a baby but the baby had other plans.
The San Francisco Fire Department said on Twitter that when they arrived, a baby was being delivered and they quickly used their training to assist. The first baby was born two minutes after their arrival and another one was shortly delivered after.
The mother and both babies were taken to the hospital. All are healthy and expected to be okay.
