Danny McEaddy, who was arrested in late September, was denied release during a detention hearing Wednesday. He is charged with at least three peeping incidents, a burglary and unlawfully entering a home, WCAU reported.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by the TV station, police said McEaddy watched a Camden County woman unload her groceries in February before entering the apartment and “grabbing her by the upper body and attempting to force her into the bedroom.”

Although he fled the scene before authorities arrived, police said he returned to the residence three months later to peer through the windows again, WTXF-TV reported.

Investigators believe that McEaddy, 39, spent seven months looking into windows of several homes across the Sicklerville and Pitman communities, the TV stations reported.

Meanwhile, the Upper Darby School District confirmed to WTXF that McEaddy was formerly a principal at Hillcrest Elementary school.

A source with knowledge of the arrest told WCAU that McEaddy has worked at several schools in both Pennsylvania and South Jersey in recent years, including the Camden Board of Education.

McEaddy’s attorney David Gelman told the TV station that his client feels wrongly accused, that the allegations are unfounded and that they “look forward to fighting in court.”
