The incident occurred Saturday at about 5 p.m. EDT when the store’s manager told an employee to close the store early because of staffing, WCAU reported. The employee advised the customers waiting in line inside the restaurant to order online, the television station reported.

The woman, who was accompanied by an unidentified man, pulled out a gun and asked to speak to a manager, police said.

The employee immediately pressed the security button to alert security, WCAU reported.

According to surveillance footage, the woman took a gun out of her purse and told the employee there would be a problem if her food was not prepared, WPVI reported. An employee did fill the woman’s order, and she displayed the gun and stated that “somebody (had) better give me my food,” the television station reported.

Police said the woman left the restaurant in an unknown direction, KYW reported.

“It’s going to take a little longer to get your fast food,” Philadelphia police Lt. Dennis Rosenbaum told WPVI. “It might not be as fast, but to pull guns on people is not the answer.”
