“Like so many of the special needs children that come to visit and heal along side our rescue animals this girl is happy, loves big, and doesn’t know life any other way,” the rescue group said on social media. “Her joy, despite her disabilities, is contagious and we want to do everything we can to love her and offer her hope and friendship to anyone that needs it.”

The chair was custom-built by Walkin' Pets in New Hampshire. It is designed to expand as she grows.

The rescue group said Ruby is getting better at walking every day.

Our best walking yet!!!!! Look at our little two legged girl go!!! So so proud of her improvement! She’s figuring out how this whole walking thing goes!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🐮
