DURHAM, N.C. — Two people have died and two others are hurt after gunfire erupted overnight in Durham, North Carolina, authorities said.

According to WRAL and WTVD, the incident occurred about 10 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Holloway Street and Guthrie Avenue. Durham police arrived to find one woman and three men with gunshot wounds, WRAL reported.
DPD is investigating a shooting with four victims in the 1600 block of Holloway Street tonight. No further details are available at this time. Call CrimeStoppers at (919) 683-1200 if you have information. They pay cash rewards and callers never have to identify themselves.

Emergency crews pronounced one victim dead at the scene, and a second later died in the hospital, according to WRAL. The other two, whom police described as bystanders, suffered minor injuries, the news outlet reported.
Police have not released information about any possible suspects or the victims’ identities, WTVD reported.
