Officials: 3 arrested in 2022 execution-style double murder in Florida

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. — In a news conference Friday night, officials announced that three men were reportedly arrested in an execution-style double murder in Aug. 2022.

David “Daniel” Sigers and James Michael “Bo” Thomas were found murdered at a house on Sawwooth Road in Macclenny, Florida, according to WJAX. They were reportedly murdered execution-style.

Baker County Sheriff Scotty Rhoden in the news conference said that Curtis Peyton Austin, 16; Waylon “Joseph” Hannah, 19; and Robert Martin Trueblood, 25, were arrested in connection with the murders of Sigers and Thomas, according to WJAX.

Two of the suspects allegedly went to the Sigers’ house, entered the house, then reportedly shot and killed Sigars and Thomas, according to WJAX.

Sheriff Rhoden mentioned that there was some kind of dispute between one of the victims and one of the suspects but according to WJAX, he did not disclose many of the details including when or who was involved exactly.

Austin and Hannah were charged with first-degree murder, armed burglary, and grand theft of a firearm, according to WJAX. Trueblood was charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and tampering with evidence.
