GREENVILLE, S.C. — A South Carolina zoo has welcomed a new member to its family – a baby giraffe.
According to The State and WYFF-TV, the Greenville Zoo announced Sunday afternoon that its 14-year-old Masai giraffe, Autumn, had given birth.
“There’s a baby in the barn!” the zoo wrote in a Facebook post. “Autumn gave birth less than an hour ago.”

The arrival of the calf – Autumn’s third with partner Miles – was streamed live on YouTube and the zoo’s website via EarthCam, the news outlets reported.
Zookeepers have not yet announced the sex of the calf, who has not been named, WYFF reported.
