Sweet photo of dog comforting toddler in time-out goes viral

NORWALK, Ohio — An Ohio toddler and his dog are gaining viral fame after the boy’s mother captured a sweet moment between the pair.

According to WJW-TV, Norwalk resident Jillian Marie Smith put her 3-year-old son, Peyton, in time-out last month after he and his older sister had an argument. As the toddler stood next to the wall, his dog, an English mastiff named Dash, decided to stand beside him.

Smith snapped a picture of the adorable moment and shared it on Facebook.

“When you’re in time-out but your best pal won’t let you serve your time alone,” she captioned the image, which has been shared more than 43,000 times.
