The retail store giant is reviving the program, which originally launched in April 2016, Target said in a news release.

Shoppers can trade in their old car seats for a 20% off coupon toward new car seats, strollers and other baby gear items, the store said. The promotion begins Sunday and will run through Sept. 25.

All Target stores will be participating in the program, the company said in its news release.

Consumers can bring the old car seats to the guest services area of the store, where there will be a drop-off box. Materials from the old car seats will be recycled by Target’s partner, Waste Management.

Shoppers can redeem the 20% coupon on their Target app or online at Target.com/circle.

Since the program launched in April 2016, Target has recycled more than 22.2 million pounds of car seats.
