Video: Driver loses control of car, narrowly misses paramedic

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — An accused impaired driver in North Carolina lost control of his car, hit a mailbox, slid across a front yard narrowly missing a paramedic -- and it was all caught on video.

Troopers responded to the scene at about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday to the home on Old Plank Road in Lincoln County.

The driver, Zachary Miles Forester, 30, of Iron Station, was arrested and charged with driving while impaired, reckless driving and driving while license revoked, troopers said.

An evaluation was performed by a trooper who is trained as a drug recognition expert.

The results of a blood test are pending.
