INDIANAPOLIS — A 2-year-old American Bully named Mansa had a ruff couple of hours Monday, but the Indianapolis Fire Department came to the rescue.
According to department, Mansa fell into a 12-foot trench just before 10 a.m., WLKY reported.
Mansa’s owner told WRTV that a contractor dug the trench earlier in the morning in a neighboring lot and the dog fell in while they were out for a walk.
The trench had been left open, hidden by two piles of dirt, Mansa’s owner told WLKY.

By 11:08 a.m., however, the IFD Trench Rescue Team had responded and rescued Mansa from his earthen prison, the TV station reported.
Mansa was not hurt, both stations confirmed.
