RICHMOND, Calif. — Several shoplifters at a Sears in California raided the clothing section Tuesday, running out the door carrying mounds of stolen merchandise, police said.
A customer recorded the crime on his phone and posted it to Twitter, where it went viral.

The incident took place at Hilltop Mall in Richmond. Police told KTVU that four women and one man entered the Sears store around 5 p.m. One man is seen in the video carrying such a tall pile of clothes that he can’t see in front of him. He tussles with a security guard who attempted to intervene, The Mercury News reported. The guard was not injured, according to Sears.
Police said the group got away with about $500 worth of merchandise. No arrests have been made yet, according to The Mercury News.
