LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. — A lottery player in Arizona is much richer today.
One person matched all five numbers and the Mega Ball in Friday’s Mega Millions drawing, lottery officials announced. The winning jackpot was worth an estimated $108 million. The winner has the option to take the money spread out in an annuity that will be paid in 30 graduated payments over 29 years, or take a lump sum of $75.2 million.
The winning numbers were 9, 14, 26, 29, 66 and the Mega Ball was 66. There was a 3X Megaplier, lottery officials said.

The winning ticket for the Mega Millions jackpot lottery was sold in Lake Havasu City earlier this week and no one has claimed the $108 million prize.

The winning ticket was sold Wednesday at the Desert Martini bar in Lake Havasu, KNXV reported.

“We are excited to see this ray of Arizona sunshine as we celebrate our second-ever Mega Millions jackpot winner,” Gregg Edgar, executive director for the Arizona Lottery, said in a statement. “This is a life-changing moment for this lucky winner and it also means millions of dollars to our state’s economy, to this winner’s community, and to the vital programs and services funded by Arizona Lottery ticket sales.”

On Sept. 22, one person in New York City won a Mega Millions jackpot worth $432 million.
The next Mega Millions drawing will be held Tuesday at 11 p.m. EDT, with the jackpot set to $20 million.
