Water main break in Ross leaves 20 homes without water, alters bus routes

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A water main break in Ross Township left 20 homes without water Friday morning and altered bus routes for the North Hills School District.

The break happened on Reis Run Road near a small bridge, reported Channel 11’s Dave Bondy.

Crews said they hope to have the break fixed by 6 p.m.

While repairs are made, Reis Run Road at the intersection of Rochester Road will be blocked off.

North Hills School District officials said bus 338 was unable to pick students up from the Brookemeade and Wallingford housing plans. Affected students could be picked up at Sir Pizza, located at the intersection of Sewickley Oakmont and Rochester roads.
