WPXI Studio 11 Pittsburgh wins two 2014 People's Telly Awards

PITTSBURGH — The Telly Awards has named WPXI Studio 11 Pittsburgh as a Bronze winner in the 35th Annual People's Telly Awards for two commercials: Diehl Dipped and Diehl Keisel. Studio 11 has now taken home three 2014 Telly Awards.

The commercials were produced in partnership with BAM Advertising Agency and both featured Pittsburgh Steelers' defensive end, Brett Keisel. Diehl Keisel uses humor to make this commercial stand out from its competitors. In Diehl Dipped, Brett's infamous beard changes colors thanks to some graphic magic. The production team included Karen Lah- Director, Jessica Fera-Producer and Scott Ripper-Director of Photography. The post-production team included Melissa Nopwaskey-Editor, Sharon Carlson-Graphic Artist and Ed Hassenfratz-Art Director.

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. Nearly 12,000 entries were received from all 50 states and numerous countries.
For its 35th season, The Telly Awards once again joined forces with YouTube to give the public the power to view and rate videos submitted as part of the People's Telly Awards. In addition to recognition
from the Silver Telly Council, the judging panel that selects the Telly Awards winners, the Internet community helps decide the People's Telly Awards winners.

Studio 11 also received a 2014 Bronze Telly for their :30 commercial, Pittsburgh Zoo Zoofari.
