Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Corey Dickerson was named a 2018 Gold Glove winner, beating out Christian Yelich and Adam Duvall for the honor.
Dickerson was acquired before the 2018 season to help fill a hole in the outfield left by the departure of Andrew McCutchen.

Dickerson ranked first among National League outfielders with a .996 fielding percentage and made just one error in 263 chances, according to the Pirates.
He's the first Pittsburgh Pirate to win a Gold Glove Award since Starling Marte in 2015 and the third Gold Glove left fielder in Pirates history, joining Marte and Barry Bonds, according to mlb.com.
Dickerson is now eligible for the Platinum Glove Award, which is given to the best defensive player in each league.
