• Polanco leaves Pirates game with hamstring injury

    By: Dean Iampietro

For the second time in two games, the Pirates lost an outfielder to injury Saturday.

Gregory Polanco left the game against the Blue Jays in the 5th inning.  He came up limping while chasing down a fly ball in right field.

Polanco was on the disabled list for a hamstring injury earlier this season.  He is listed day to day.

Andrew McCutchen injured his knee Friday night against the Blue Jays. He is also considered day to day and was left out of the lineup on Saturday.
