Stallings slugs walk-off slam to stun Mets 9-7

PITTSBURGH — Improbably, and with a packed house for the first time this season, the Pirates found a way to make it three straight wins vs. the Mets.

After being down 6-0 through seven innings, the Pirates rallied for five runs in the eighth, then walked it off on a Jacob Stallings grand slam for a 9-7 victory over New York on Saturday at PNC Park.

It marked the first time this season that a team has rallied back to win a game after trailing by six or more runs entering the eighth inning.
