Ben Roethlisberger was back at practice Friday afternoon at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex after missing the last two days of practice because of an elbow injury suffered in the season opener against the Cleveland Browns.
Roethlisberger said Wednesday he got hurt on the next-to-last play in overtime of the 21-21 tie.
“A bruise,” Roethlisberger said earlier this week. “It will be fine.”
He took the first team snaps at practice, while Josh Dobbs returned to his normal share of backup snaps at Friday's practice. If Roethlisberger ultimately cannot play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, Dobbs will make his first career NFL start.
