The Bengals safety who was suspended for one game after a helmet-to-helmet hit with Steelers receiver Antonio Brown won his appeal Wednesday and will not be suspended.

George Iloka hit Brown as he was catching a touchdown pass in Monday night’s game, which was marred by several vicious blows and numerous injuries, including Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier being carted off the field with a spine injury.

Iloka’s hit came minutes after Steelers rookie receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was flagged for an illegal hit on Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict that led to Burfict also being carted off the field.

Smith-Schuster was suspended for one game for the hit; his appeal was denied Tuesday.
