Ebron ‘more than excited’ to join Steelers, new team feels likewise

PITTSBURGH — The Steelers made waves Friday, signing Eric Ebron to a two-year, $12 million deal. Fans were predictably excited by the move.

And so was Ebron:

Hilariously enough, Ebron might’ve sealed his fate way back in January of 2018, when the Steelers faced the Jaguars in the playoffs at Heinz Field. The Steelers ultimately lost that one, 45-42, but Ben Roethlisberger lit up the field, throwing for 469 yards and five touchdowns with one interception against one of the best defenses (and secondaries) in the NFL.

That performance prompted the following tweet from Ebron.
