NBC uses 'SkyCam' as primary camera during Steelers-Titans game

There are two SkyCams, one for play by play and the other for pre-snap looks and replays.

“People don't understand this is operated with joysticks much like a video game is,” said Fred Gaudelli, executive producer of NBC’s Sunday night and Thursday night football series.

Ex-players like Jerome Bettis have already given it their endorsement.

“You get a full view of the entire game i think you lose a little bit with the wide receivers but what you gain on the inside I think is valuable,” Bettis said.
