Steelers, Pitt suspend broadcaster Bill Hillgrove for first two games

PITTSBURGH — Two months after he was charged with a DUI for crashing into a Westmoreland County store, Bill Hillgrove is being suspended by two local sports teams he does play-by-play broadcasting for.

A Pittsburgh Steelers spokesperson confirmed Wednesday that Hillgrove will be suspended from broadcasting the first two games of the regular season. Initially his suspension was only going to be during the preseason, but the games were canceled due to COVID-19.
