PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Chase Claypool has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Claypool scored four touchdowns to help the Steelers defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-29 on Sunday, making him the first rookie in team history to score four touchdowns in a game. He is only the third player in team history to do so.
He had seven receptions for 110 yards. Three of those catches were touchdowns, and he also rushed for a two-yard score.
The Steelers picked Claypool in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
