Steelers add depth at running back, cornerback with free agent signings

PITTSBURGH — The Steelers signed two new players Monday, adding depth at the running back and cornerback positions.

Knile Davis was signed to a one-year contract, according to a statement from the team.

Davis was an unrestricted free agent, entering his fifth NFL season. He previously spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers.

Davis’ career regular-season numbers include 250 rushes for 805 rushing yards with 11 rushing touchdowns and 34 receptions for 271 receiving yards with a touchdown in 57 games. He also has returned 73 kickoffs for 1,960 yards with two kickoff return touchdowns.

The Steelers also announced the signing of Coty Sensabaugh to a two-year contract.

Sensabaugh is entering his sixth NFL season. The cornerback spent time with the Tennessee Titans, Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants.

In 72 career regular-season games with 29 starts, Sensabuagh has totaled 179 tackles, 1.0 sack, two interceptions and 22 passes defended.
