Steelers reportedly signing Central Catholic grad Stefen Wisniewski to 2-year deal

The Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t officially confirmed it yet, but Stefen Wisniewski – a Central Catholic grad – announced on Twitter that he’s signing with his hometown team.

Wisniewski is an offensive guard/center and is likely being signed to help fill the void left behind from Ramon Foster’s retirement and B.J. Finney’s departure in free agency.

NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero said Wisniewski is coming on a two-year deal, but the dollar amount has not yet been reported.

Wisniewski is a two-time Super Bowl Champion: Kansas City Chiefs (2019-20) and Philadelphia Eagles (2017-18).

According to Pro Football Focus, Wisniewski “performed considerably well in his limited-turned starter role by ranking 16th among guards in overall grade.”
