Steelers reportedly signing pass rusher Melvin Ingram before camp starts

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly beefing up their defensive line and are signing pass rusher Melvin Ingram, according to NFL Network.

According to NBC Sports, Ingram has spent the majority of his nine-year career with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers. He was not res-signed after last season.

The three-time Pro Bowler has 49 career sacks, 70 tackles for loss and 108 QB hits since he was drafted in 2012.

He only played seven games last season while dealing with knee injuries.
