No NHL players test positive after 4,000+ COVID-19 tests from past week

PITTSBURGH — Among the 4,256 COVID-19 tests given to NHL players over the last week, there were no positive results, according to the league.

More than 800 players were tested for coronavirus from July 18-25. All 24 NHL teams have entered their respective “bubble” in Edmonton and Toronto.

The league is now in Phase 4 and each of the 52 people on the 24 teams, including players and staff, will be tested daily.
