Penguins to open training camp at UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Penguins will take the ice for the first day of training camp on Thursday, September 23 at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex to officially open the 2021-22 season.

Training camp practices at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex are free and open to the public.

After a successful rookie camp, the Penguins have added forwards Sam Houde and Josh Williams to the training camp roster. An updated roster is attached.

After four days of practices, the Penguins will begin their preseason slate against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday, September 27 at PPG Paints Arena with puck drop set for 7:00 PM.

The Penguins will start the regular season without Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin after both players had offseason surgery.
