Penguins trade Galchenyuk to Minnesota Wild for Zucker

The Pittsburgh Penguins have traded forward Alex Galchenyuk to the Minnesota Wild.

In addition to Galchenyuk, the Penguins are giving up defenseman Calen Addison and a 2020 draft pick in exchange for forward Jason Zucker.

The trade was first reported by TSN’sBob McKenzie, then confirmed by the Penguins.

“Jason Zucker is a top-six forward that we think will be a great fit for our group,” said Penguins general manager Jim Rutherford. “He’s a proven goal scorer, and with three more years on his current contract, he has the potential to make an impact for us moving forward.”
