PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry and defenseman Kris Letang have been selected to represent the Metropolitan Division in the 2020 NHL All-Star Game.

According to a release from the team, Jarry will replace Columbus goalie Joonas Korpisalo and Letang will replace Jake Guentzel. Both players cannot compete due to injury.

Letang was initially named one of the finalists for the “Last Men In” vote for the Metro, but Guentzel’s injury opened a spot for another Penguins player. He’ll be making his sixth appearance in the All-Star Game.

Jarry, on the other hand, will be in his first. Jarry leads the league in all major goaltending categories with a 1.99 goals-against average, .935 save percentage and three shutouts (tied).
