Ones to Watch: Chloe Kim

BEIJING, China — Chloe Kim is just 21 years old, but she’s set to win back-to-back gold medals at the Beijing Winter Olympic games.

Kim was 17 when she took home gold in Pyeongchang.

She stepped away from the sport for 22 months but came back with a vengeance just in time.

In December, she dominated at a competition in Switzerland with high scores and huge air.

“I want to, you know, show people that snowboarding is really cool, and we only get that opportunity once every four years at the Olympics, like reaching this big audience of people who want to watch you know, the Olympics and watch our sport in particular,” Kim said.

Kim was the youngest woman to win snowboarding gold back in 2018.
