The Super Bowl hasn’t happened yet and it’s the All-Star Break of the NHL season but we’re already looking ahead to summer and the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

From July 24 through August 9, the Olympics will bring together more than 12,000 athletes from 206 nations.
The only place in Pittsburgh to watch is all is Channel 11.

The Olympic Games will feature 309 events across the 15 days of coverage.
There will be some new ones for you to watch this year including sport climbing, surfing, karate and skateboarding. Baseball and softball will also return in 2020 after being absent during the past two Summer Games.
Track & field, judo, table tennis and shooting are adding mixed team events.
The Olympic rings arrived in Tokyo on a barge earlier this month.
The rings, which are about 50 feet high and 100 feet long, will be on display in Odaiba Marine Park on Tokyo Bay which is the venue for the triathlon and distance swimming.
The Opening Ceremony is on July 24.
