The Pitt men’s basketball team took to the court Tuesday night with a special way to honor NBA legend Kobe Bryant.
All the players had matching jerseys during warmups with either the number 8 or 24 on them, both numbers Bryant wore during his two decades in the NBA.

Bryant was one of nine people who died Sunday when the helicopter they were in crashed near Los Angeles.
The players continued to wear the shirts on the bench throughout the game.
