Bill Phillips is the weekend anchor for Channel 11 Sports, and a reporter for Channel 11 Sports. 

Bill joined Channel 11 in December of 2001. Born in Syracuse, New York, Bill grew up in Farmington, Connecticut. Bill attended the University of Miami, and received a degree in Communications from Central Connecticut University. He worked at WVIT in Hartford, Connecticut, and WJKA in Wilmington, North Carolina. Bill was the sports anchor for WTOV in Steubenville, Ohio, before joining the Channel 11 team. He is married with a son and a daughter.

While working at WTOV, Bill received a number of Associated Press awards for his coverage of sports. The most memorable stories of his career include covering the Super Bowl, the Rose Bowl, the Sugar Bowl, and Stanley Cup hockey finals. Bill was honored to carry the Olympic torch through the streets of Grove City, Ohio for the 1996 Olympic Games. "It was an amazing moment," Bill says.

"I'm a blessed man," Bill says. He adds, "I have a wonderful family, and I love what I do."
