Slick spots possible early Wednesday with snow showers moving in

PITTSBURGH — Snow showers could cause a few slick spots early Wednesday so check with Severe Weather Team 11 before you head out.

Light snow or flurries will move into the area before sunrise, leave a coating to less than 1 inch for most areas. Temperatures will be below freezing though so any snow that falls on untreated surfaces could make things slippery.

A break between systems will allow temperatures to climb back near normal Thursday. Look for a big warm up by the weekend as high temperatures will soar back into the 60s. The break in the winter weather will come with rain, however.

Wet weather moves in late Friday with periods of rain off and on Saturday.

Stay with Severe Weather Team 11 as we update the forecast for your area.
