Cool with spotty showers for first full day of fall

PITTSBURGH — It feels more like late October or early November outside, and that may have you scrambling for warmer clothes and hot chocolate.

You’ll need the jackets again early Friday, with most areas starting out in the upper 40s.

A nice warm up is on the way though, with sunshine and winds from the south helping to push us back into the mid 60s.

Head to the park or enjoy an outdoor lunch, then grab dinner on the deck.

The weekend will start dry, but a stray shower may pop up mid-morning through early afternoon Saturday. The chance for rain is low, but you’ll want to check the Severe Weather Team 11 forecast for updates.
