Easter weekend will kick off with cool temperatures, chance of rain

PITTSBURGH — Easter weekend will be cool with a chance of rain today and a return of sunshine tomorrow.

A cold front is igniting rain across the area. Rain will continue into the afternoon. Widespread showers will transition into spotty showers by this afternoon and evening. Dry conditions will linger into Sunday.

Grab a coat Sunday morning. Temperatures will start out in the 30s. The cooler air behind the cold front will knock highs down around 10 degrees below average. Sunday afternoon temperatures will only reach the lower 50s.
