Beautiful Saturday evening before rain showers push in overnight

Beautiful weather is expected Saturday evening, but rain will move back in overnight and into Sunday morning. Steady rain is forecast in the morning, so you’ll need your umbrella if you’re heading out. Temperatures will be in the mid-40s in the morning and climb to the mid-50s during the afternoon.

The steadiest rain will taper off mid-afternoon, but then return Sunday night. A Flood Advisory is in effect for the Ohio River at Pittsburgh as the river is expected to crest at 19.5 feet by Tuesday morning. The Mon Wharf parking lot floods and is closed at 19.5 feet. Flood warnings are in effect for some cities along the Mon River so make sure you keep checking the forecast as rivers rise in the coming days.

Pittsburgh looks to see a half an inch to one inch of rain through Monday morning. Higher amounts of up to two inches will be possible along the border of Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
