6:35 P.M. UPDATE: A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Venango, Washington and Westmoreland counties until 11 p.m.
6:33 P.M. UPDATE: We are receiving damage reports of trees down on wires in Armstrong County.
There is also a report of a funnel cloud being spotted, but we have not seen a tornado confirmed.
6:13 P.M. UPDATE: A Tornado Warning has been issued for Armstrong and Indiana counties until 6:45 p.m.
The following communities are expected to get the full force of the storm at the following times: 6:32 p.m. in Plumcreek; 6:45 p.m. in Armstrong; 6:58 p.m. in Indiana; and 7:06 p.m. in Homer City

The National Weather Service says quarter-sized hail is also possible in an area where almost 80,000 people live.

6:06 PM UPDATE: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Butler, Mercer and Venango counties until 7 p.m.
5:45 PM UPDATE: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Butler and Armstrong counties until 6:30 p.m.
Expect a chance of strong to severe storms this evening mainly between 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
STORM TRACKER: Timing of showers moving through Wednesday
Storms should start to push south of Pittsburgh by 8 p.m. Any storm that does develop may produce damaging wind gusts, hail and locally heavy rainfall. While the threat is very low, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
We'll see decreasing clouds tonight with lows in the upper 50s. Thursday will be sunny with highs in the low 80s. Expect a less humid and breezy day.
