PITTSBURGH — Showers will return tonight, and there could be heavy amounts locally. An additional half an inch of rain will be possible in Pittsburgh with isolated higher amounts south. Isolated thunder will also be possible overnight.
Flooding concerns continue for cities along the Monongahela and Yough rivers. There’s a Flood Advisory for the Ohio River at Pittsburgh -- and a warning for the Mon River at Elizabeth and Charleroi.

Rain will be around early Monday morning but will clear out as many of us hit the road for the morning commute. Temperatures will rise overnight into the mid-50s but cool again to the low-40s by sunrise.
Expect temperatures in the 30s during the day Monday with windy conditions. Some data shows winds could gust up to 35 and 40 mph.
Beautiful sunshine will return in full force on Tuesday.
