PITTSBURGH — Heavy rain and thunderstorms will continue through the evening. Storms could become strong to severe, bringing high wind gusts and downpours that could lead to localized flash flooding. If you see rising water, get to higher ground and never drive through flooded roadways.
Thursday will be less hot than Friday, with more cloud coverage early in the day along with some showers and thunder possible. There may be a break for some sunshine in the late afternoon and early evening before another chance for a few passing showers or storms late at night.
The weekend will be warm and humid with more dry hours than wet, but we will have a daily chance of showers and storms though early next week.
